My kids got a waterpark pass last year for a reading program at their school. It was our first time visiting the waterpark and they had an awesome time! If it had not been the end of the season, we would have gone back again. But, these outings add up, especially when you have 2 or 3 kids, or even more.
I was happy to see that Oakland County Parks is taking into consideration that some families are struggling right now. They are offering lower rates for the upcoming summer season to make family fun more affordable.
Traverse City State Park and its surrounding areas provides families with as many activities as any camping experience. With 47 acres of land, the campsite offers several features that will make camping comfortable and care-free.
As you enter the campgrounds, you'll notice the beach of the east arm of the Grand Traverse Bay on the north side of U.S. 131 N. This beach is open to every camper and is only a short walk over the pedestrian bridge from the campsite.

Myhusband and I drove up to Petoskey/Harbor Springs for a short trip recently. We stayed at a condo that we reserved through Land Masters. The trip was awesome. We really enjoyed the condo.
The Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City is a kid's dream vacation spot. The lodge design is fun and very welcoming. When we first walked into the lobby, we were greeted by the kindest staff.

The Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City invited me and my family out for an overnight stay to experience the kick off of Snowland - their Christmas Winter Wonderland. We had never been there before so were quite excited to see it. We had heard it was their busiest time of year and this proved to be true!

When we first walked into the lobby, it was a "Disney-style" Christmas wonderland. The kids were amazed - there were lights and beautiful decorations everywhere.
