Now that the holiday break is over and we are headed toward the winter break, I am starting to think about this one. I know all schools/districts are different, but for my children (Rochester schools), if felt like the holiday break was a bit too long. Even they were getting bored (and we got a Wii for

Christmas that they are addicted to) and looking forward to going back. Now, we come up to a winter break that is two days long, and it makes it difficult to go anywhere without having to take days off of school. This would be the time to take a vacation since I really don't want to go anywhere during the holidays. So, I think I would like to see the holiday break shortened by a day or two and either add it to the winter break, or get out of school during the summer a couple of days earlier. We love our summers, and the longer the better!
