Webinar – "Know Your Brain: Help Your Child Excel" ( 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm )
Do you find it challenging at times to focus on a 30-minute lecture? Do you frequently misplace objects such as keys? Are you sensitive to bright lights? Are you good at puzzles? How can these answers help your child succeed in life? Simple Yes or No answers to questions like these can help identify strengths and weaknesses in the nine areas of brain development Eton Academy uses to identify a student's unique learning profile.
Join Pete Pullen, Head of School at Eton Academy for an informative and interactive webinar. Learn how the areas of the brain that control Attention, Memory, Ordering, Language, Thinking and Sensory Integration are all part of an individual's learning profile. While Eton's approach with students is much more in-depth, the webinar will equip parents with a framework to better understand their own brain and how to best support their child's unique learning style at school and home, especially if the child is a different learner.
Eton educators utilize the best research based teaching strategies worldwide including All Kinds of Minds to engage students and bring out their fullest potential. Pullen graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry and earned a Mater's degree in Educational Administration from Michigan State University. Head of School at Eton Academy since 2002, Pullen is pioneering the school's successful Eton Approach TM, a learning system that combines specialized instruction with 21st century brain research. In the past five years, 94% of Eton's graduates have advanced to college, compared to 10% of similar students nationwide.
