Southfield, Michigan Easter event for kids
Friday, April 6th at 10a
Easter Event: The Great Marshmallow Drop at Catalpa Oaks Park (27725 Greenfield Road, Southfield, MI)
15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter. Kids pick up marshmallows and return them for a free gift from Oakland County Parks. Kids will be split into 3 different age groups for 3 drops. Easter Event: Easter Egg Hunt
Come out to Mill Pond Park's 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and meet the Easter Bunny himself!  Children will collect bright, colorful, candy or toy filled eggs. Pictures with the Easter Bunny may be taken with your camera for no additional charge. Pictures will be available for $3. Prize eggs may be found during the hunt. Children must bring their own Easter basket. Egg hunt will be held rain or shine, so please dress weather appropriate. Mill Pond Park in Davisburg. Easter Event: Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo
Hop on over to Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo! The Detroit Zoo’s annual spring celebration features costumed characters, treats, crafts and much more! Bunnyville will feature photo stations (photos available for purchase), each with the opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny, as well as Off Broadway Productions’ presentation of “The Bunny Follies,” a live minimusical. Admission is $6 for non-members with a canned food donation to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Admission for Zoo members is free, but we encourage members to bring a canned food donation.

Auburn Hills, Michigan Easter Event for kids and adults

Easter Event: Easter Egg Hunt &  Bonnet Contest
Civic Center Park (1827 N. Squirrel Rd., Auburn Hills, MI) hosts the Easter Egg Hunt and Bonnet contest. The Egg Hunts begin at noon for 4 different age categories. The Bonnet contest begins at 12:15 and prizes will be awarded for different categories. Photos can be taken with the Easter Bunny for $5 per photo. The adult egg toss begins at 1p. Fee is $2 per child made payable as you park.
