The MI Earth Day Fest will welcome to downtown Rochester an anticipated audience of 100,000 people from around Michigan, eager to learn about green and healthy living.

As part of the MI Earth Day Fest activities, visitors to town can visit businesses participating in the “Paint the Town Green” window decorating contest,

 featuring displays both environmentally friendly “green” as well as the color green.  Visitors can vote for their favorite windows online, April 22 – 25, at either www.DowntownRochesterMI.com or www.facebook.com/downtown.rochester.  Additionally, many businesses in town will take part in a “Be Green – Buy Local” promotion; participants in this promotion will provide in-store specials, promotions or activities as part of the festivities.  Lists with names of participants in both activities will be available at the Green City booth.
