The Motown Winter Blast returns to Campus Martius Park in Downtown Detroit for 2012 from Friday February 10th through Sunday, February 12th. Winter Blast will provide visitors with a non-stop lineup of winter activities, dining and music.

Detroit's Motown Winter Blast is a family friendly winter event in downtown Detroit. Event producer, Jon Witz, is happy to bring the Winter Blast back this year. The Motown Winter Blast staff is working hard to put the finishing touches on their event plan. The Motown Winter Blast is working with corporate citizens and vendors to help bring back the snow slide and other activities for 2012.

The 2012 Motown Winter Blast is to once again be the only weekend to have free skating at Campus Martius, plus three heated tents - two of them with stages and three stages all-together, more than 50 entertainment acts of top local talent, preofessional and amateur skating exhibitions, marshmallow roasting, an outdoor winter carnival, a family stage with special readings and a great lineup of talent to be announced in January, Taste of Detroit, "Comfort Zones" where you can find heat every 150 feet to warm up, ice sculptures, and more.
 
Motown Winter Blast is Detroit’s celebration of winter experiences, dining, music and family fun to be held in downtown Detroit’s Campus Martius from, Friday, February 10th through Sunday, February 12th, 2012. The three-day festival will be open from (11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday).
