Enjoy the great outdoors with your family at the Great Farmington Hills Campout in Heritage Park on Saturday, June 8 through Sunday, June 9.

The Berkley Art Bash continues for its twelth straight year on June 8, 2013 from 10a-6p along 12 Mile Road between Wakefield and Tyler streets. The free event features over 100 artists, live music, food and kids activities.

Clawson City Park, in the heart of southeast Oakland County, Michigan will host CLAWS & PAWS 2013 on June 8, which will combine a 2 Mile Run/Dog Jog/Walk (10 am) with a Pet Care Fair/Animal Adoption (10am - 4pm). Runners, animals lovers, and kids are all welcome to attend and participate.

Downtown Rochester will celebrate its Junk in the Trunk resale event on June 15, 2013 from 9a-2p. Buyers and sellers are welcome to shop and swap at the community-wide resale event.

Junk in the will be located in the parking lot at W. Third and Walnut Street in Downtown Rochester. Rochester Businesses may purchase space to sell their wares by renting a parking space for $35 or two spaces for $50.


 

The Farmington Hills Nature Center inside Heritage Park is offering free summer nature programs this summer for kids of all ages. The free programs take place Monday through Friday throughout the summer from June 18 through August 23rd.

Meadow Brook Hall presents Twilight Tuesdays. Twilight Tuesdays return to Meadow Brook Hall for 2013 beginning on June 18, from 6p-9p and returning July 23 and August 27. Want to enjoy The Hall like a guest of the Wilsons? For those of you who love gardens, wine and history, we are pleased to announce Twilight Tuesdays on select Tuesday evenings throughout the summer.

Summer sizzles at Meadow Brook with live cool Jazz in the Garden, a summer concert series featuring local jazz musicians. The evening includes light hors d' oeuvres, a main floor tour of The Hall, and a cash bar. Tickets are $30 per person. Reservations are required. Please call (248) 364-6263 for more information.

Northville Parks and Rec hosts free Tunes on Tuesday concerts at Town Square in Downtown Northville. Genitti's Hole-in-the-Wall Theatre in Downtown Northville will host the free concerts should there be rain. The free concert series runs on Tuesdays in mid-June through August from 10:30a-11:30a. Performances are held "rain or shine." Bring the kids out to Northville for some free family-friendly summer fun!
