Farmington Hills Department of Special Services will host Homeschool Nature Programs every Wednesday at the Heritage Park Nature Center beginning April 17 and running every Wednesday through May 22 from 1p-2:30p.
Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the nature world. A naturalist will lead hands-on, memorable experiences outdoors, while exploring a different nature theme each week. The Homeschool Nature Program at Heritage Park is a great way to get outside, meet other homeschool families and supplement your at-home lessons!
The Homeschool Nature Program at Heritage Park is designed as a drop-off class. Students will be split into two age groups depending on the number of partipants. Please dress for the weather and exploring outdoors.
The cost for all eight classes is $40. The drop-in fee is $8 per class, paid at the site. Advanced registration is encouraged to guarantee your spot. Register online at https://recreg.fhgov.com or at the Costick Center.
