Oakland County is offering low-cost flu shots beginning September 25th, 2012. Flu shots are available for only $16 at the Oakland County Health Division North Oakland Health Center and South Oakland Health Center. Hours for flu shots are Hours are 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday.

The Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) will offer body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure screenings during flu clinics at the Pontiac and Southfield office locations. The screenings, which are part of Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson’s vision for enhancing the quality of life in Oakland County through active and healthier lifestyles, are provided at no cost and open to anyone who is interested.

Registration is preferred. To register for your flu shot go to www.oakgov.com/health The system will allow clients to select the clinic location, date and time of their choice and also provides a consent form that must be taken to the clinic where they pre-enrolled. Online payment options include - Visa, Mastercard, Medicare and/or Medicaid. If you are unable to register online, please call 248-858-7350 or 248-424-7120.

Walk-in flu shot appointments are welcome. Walk-in payment options include Medicare, Medicaid and cash (no credit cards, checks or money orders).
