My son was sick with the stomach flu recently, and because it kicked in during the night, he had a few accidents on the way to the bathroom. So at about 2 am, I was scrubbing puke out of my carpet in the dark with a flashlight. When I woke up I saw that there was still a stain, even though I had tried everything, including Woolite Oxy Deep spot and stain carpet cleaner.
It did not work. I was telling another mom about this (thanks, Melissa!) and she mentioned that I should use the oxy clean that comes in the tub that is used for laundering. I have some in my laundry room so I tried it and it worked! My only problem is that it somewhat left a bleach like tone to my carpet, but my carpet is very light anyway and it is difficult to see. Plus, it might be because I had other products in there as well and they mixed. Whatever the reason, it's still better than the nasty orange puke stain!
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of diets suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. #superbowlfood
