My Wii Fit diary 3-7-09

Ok, I thought I could get away with doing my Wii Fit on the weekends and see some results.  I now realize I need to increase the intensity a bit.  So, I tried it out this past week.

My new strategy is to increase the number of workouts, and to pick the exercises that are more challenging.  Instead of focusing on a great deal of balance exercises (which range from virtual ski jumps to tight rope walking), I included more of the aerobic runs and boxing, and strength training push-ups and lunges.  I did five 15-30 minute sessions.  I did not want to go bonkers just yet.  I need to save that for if/when I plateau.  Right now, it's all about the bare minimum.  And, the bare minimum is working!  I lost about two pounds! 

I am going to try to maintain this pace and see what happens.  I am definitely still interested in the Wii Fit.  There are no signs of boredom yet!  Although, I do worry a bit that the increased number of sessions and the more difficult workouts might get me there soonerFrown.
