Gluten Free and Dairy Free Recipes

When my son's speech therapist suggested we go gluten free and dairy free, I had a simultaneous moment of "heck no" and OMG. Deep down I knew I had to give it a shot, but I also did not know where to begin.

Luckily, my mom is a great cook, and I have a friend who is very knowledgeable on the subject since she has Celiac's disease (a sensitivity to gluten). With some support and creativity, I began the journey of a GF/CF diet for my son.

The following links are to recipes that I put together that my son loves. Some things take getting used to, but it is so worth it. Be sure to read labels on store bought items. For example, make sure your soy sauce is gluten free, seasonings are gluten free, etc.

Meatloaf
Mashed potatoes
Potato chip chicken
Hashbrowns
Roasted chicken
Fruit smoothie

These are not mine, but I had to mention them cuz they're so good!
Grilled shrimp
Jambalaya
Homemade applesauce
Salmon
