We attended a birthday party at Lifetime Fitness and it was full of hands-on action  My son still talks about the party a year later. The birthday party started at the rock-climbing walls and then moved to the pool.

The birthday party ended in a private room with pizza and cake.  The kids had so much fun and they really got in some great social time and exercise.  The only downside would be that it was a bit hectic getting all the kids changed out of their wet swimsuits in the Lifetime Fitness locker rooms. I went with my son, but many parents dropped off their kids and the responsibility was left to the party hosts.
