Nothing says fall like a hot donut and cold cider! We are all lucky to live in Michigan where there are so many options of cider mills and orchards. Personally, I love them all but Wiards Cider Mill in Ypsilanti has been a family favorite. I can remember coming with my grandma and she remembers coming to Wiards Cider Mill with HER grandma.
I have not tried all the activities or food at Wiards Cider Mill but I can tell you what I have enjoyed....donuts, cider in little plastic apples, pies to take home and bake, the huge inflatables for my kids and the fire engine....off topic, but I also go at least once usually for their haunted barn stuff at night. But, I wouldn't recommend bringing littles ones to this. I made that mistake 2 years ago. I'd say at least 12 years old (in my opinion).
Come to Wiards Cider Mill ready to spend quite a few hours. Once you pay to get in you really want to get your money's worth and you can easily spend the entire day. Wiards Cider Mill offers various discounts this year on their websites for different weekends. They open next weekend and I can't wait! I'm sure a lot of other Oakland County moms feel the same way.
I recommend their website since I only know so much http://www.wiards.com/
