I meet so many friends through Twitter and I've become a big fan of Marybeth Levine and her Detroit Area Diaper Bank non-profit organization. Headquartered in Canton, Detroit Area Diaper Bank's mission is to provide diapers for low-income households, the elderly and those with disabilities.

The need for diapers is tremendous as there is currently no system in place via the WIC, Medicare or Food Stamps to provide needy families with diapers.

The Detroit Area Diaper Bank organization tirelessly and creatively comes up with effective partnerships for collecting and distributing diapers for the needy. They've effectively collaborated with local businesses, doctor’s offices and charitable groups and use remote locations to secure drop-off points for diapers and donations.
