Jesse Decker Park in Orion Township provides ball fields, a medium sized playscape and a steep sled hill in a residential park.

The sledding hill at Jesse Decker Park in Orion Township, Michigan is fast. There is also a fairly large dip at the bottom of the steep hill (see video). The dip will allow sledders to get "plenty of air" and I witnessed quite a few wipeouts on this hill.

There aren't a lot of amenities to Jesse Decker Park from a sledding standpoint. No warming areas, the parking is pretty far away from the hill to lug a sled and parking area could use some snow removal. That said, the sled hill is wide to allow for multiple sledders and the speed factor is a hit for sledders over 10 years old. The banks to the side of the large hill are better if you have children under the age of eight.
