Rochester Library Paws For Reading

March 19, 2009

I have heard about Paws for Reading for a while now, but finally tried Paws for Reading out with my kids. It's the Paws for Reading program where the kids can reserve time to read to a dog. At the Paws for Reading, it's Lucy or Annabelle. Readings can be reserved each Wednesday evening. Here is video of the review

At Paws for Reading, bean bags are set up in a nice, quiet, and cozy corner at the Rochester Hills Public Library.  The Paws for Reading caregiver stays with the dog.  The Paws for Reading dog is so calm and sweet, so it is great even for the kids who might be a bit hesitant.  My kids loved Paws for Reading at the Paws for Reading and are still talking about Paws for Reading. We will definitely be doing Paws for Reading again.
