My daughter and I dropped off my son at baseball practice one night and went to a local Panera so I could do some work on my laptop. We make a quick run into the nearby Kroger so we could buy her something to keep busy while I worked. We found a cute Curious George activity book. I was getting ready to buy a box of crayons (even though we have plenty at home) when my daugher pointed out these Crayola Twistables Slick Stix. I initially thought Crayola Twistables Slick Stix were the markers we have that twist to open, so I tried to talk my daughter out of buying them. She pointed out that they were in fact different, so we purchased them. Here is my review of Crayola Twistables Slick Stix:
We're pretty happy with Crayola Twistables Slick Stix. I think they best way to describe Crayola Twistables Slick Stix is that they are a cross between a crayon and a marker. Crayola Twistables Slick Stix go on paper totally smoothly and produce a thick, deep, bright color, similar to a poster paint but with a crayon grain texture. The kids love Crayola Twistables Slick Stix. I think they love the bright deepness of the colors the best.
My only complaints would be that if you press too hard, the soft Crayola Twistables Slick Stix will break off. Also the tip is quite thick so there is very little high accuracy coloring. Finally, the caps don't snap on very easily. I think it's a defect in the Crayola Twistables Slick Stix. It doesn't have to be that way, but Crayola Twistables Slick Stix just don't click shut well. It's hard to explain, but you will know exactly what I mean if you buy these.
Overall, I highly recommend the Crayola Twistables Slick Stix. They come in a pack of 5 different colors and we purchased ours for $3.99. I hope this review was helpful.
