I was shopping at Whole Foods and overheard some ladies talking about how they lost weight and feel great and haven’t done anything different except for this one thing. I politely interrupted and asked what the secret was.

This year marks the 10th Christmas in this home for me and my family. Since we moved in, I have (for the most part) been using the same Christmas lights. These suckers are pretty durable!

Last year, I decided to add to the collection since my husband is a fan of the multi-colored lights. I found these 8mm lights that are slightly larger than the typical lights. I

The Imagio is a Verizon Wireless smartphone that is suitable to a large audience, including kids! Here is my review:

My kids love (and are pleasantly occupied) by the V Cast Mobile TV and V Cast Video offered on the Imagio. The Mobile TV offers up a few different channels and is as close to live TV as possible. We were stuck in the No Haz line for over an hour recently and the Imagio was a life saver! And the screen on the Imagio is huge so it's great for even two people to view the TV! There's even a little kickstand on the back of the Imagio that you pull out so you can have the phone stand up on its own while watching the TV or videos.

Droid was just released. I've got a Droid in my hands to try out and review.  I've only had the Droid for a few days and I can already speak highly of this new phone. I LOVE THIS Droid!

First, I will go over what makes this phone different than most.

I might be the last person to have purchased Hullabaloo, but if you don't have it already, you might want to consider it. Here is my review of Hullabaloo.

I tried out the Ozone by Verizon and here is my review. It's really my kind of phone. The keypad on Ozone was probably the biggest attraction for me. It's easy to use and I like that it is a QWERTY right on the front of the phone. I like the keys and screen together. Texting is very easy with Ozone, flipping through the menu is easy. I tried out a phone previously to this one that used a stylus and I did not like that much. It took too long to do anything.

I also love the "go back" key on Ozone that allows you to go back to your previous screen; much better than being stuck where you left off, or starting over! All the key functions of the phone are very useful and logical. I found it easy to learn, and it was not frustrating or difficult at all. For having a lot of features, this is important.

Our house is conveniently surrounded by "privacy" hills.  They are great for sledding in the winter and a whipping fast slip n slide in the summer. But, these convenient hills that hide us from the golf course parking lot also do a number on our sump pump.

Since moving into our house in 2000, we have replaced our sump pump three times. Luckily, we went with the Home Depot brand, Ridgid, that has a lifetime warranty. It's so easy and so worth it. Each time the sump pump breaks down, we lift it out, bring it to Home Depot, and swap it for a new one. No questions asked.

My mother-in-law purchased a Hoover Spin Scrub vacuum cleaner style carpet cleaner, and swore by it. She told me she once had her carpets professionally cleaned after they had some drywall work done, but felt she could have done a better job herself with her own Hoover Spin Scrub.  So I asked her if I could borrow her Hoover Spin Scrub. 

We don't wear shoes in the house, we have no pets, and we only eat at the table, but I figured we still really needed a good cleaning. Boy was I right.

I'm tired of high fructose corn syrup.  That gunk is everywhere!  I avoid it at all costs.  It was challenging to find a ketchup that did not have high fructose corn syrup or even corn syrup.  Neither of these should be anywhere near a bottle of tomato ketchup.
