Garlic Spread Recipe
My sister and I went to Arts, Beats and Eats recently and were on the hunt for Chicken Tawook wraps. We found exactly what we were looking for. The sandwich roll up is made with the great garlic spread we love so my sister and I both ordered extra heavy on the sauce (husbands were at home so we didn't need to worry about garlic breath!). Garlic Spread Recipe Ingredients
- 3 garlic bulbs
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Garlic Spread Recipe Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Do not peel the garlic. Cut the top off of the garlic bulbs to expose the tips of the garlic cloves inside. Dab the exposed cloves with olive oil. Wrap the bulbs together loosely in some foil and bake for an hour or until soft.
Let cool enough for easy handling. Peel the garlic cloves. Add olive oil. Puree and whip with a blender or food processor. Use the spread on meats, sandwiches, potatoes...
