Detroit Weekend Events – Motown Winter Blast 2017
Campus Martius Park (800 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan)
Motown Winter Blast is Detroit’s celebration of winter experiences, dining, music and family fun. The three-day festival hours will be Friday from 4p-11p, Saturday from 11a-11p and Sunday from 11a-9p. Preview Winter Blast 2017 or visit the Motown Winterblast website or call 313-963-8418.

Novi Weekend Events – Michigan Winter Dog Classic 2017
Suburban Collection Showplace (46100 Grand River, Novi, MI. 48374, 248-348-5600)
The Michigan Winter Dog Classic Novi 2017 will feature over 7000 dogs from more than 160 breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club, the Oakland County Kennel Club and the Livonia Kennel Club. There will be plenty of interactive demonstrations and exhibitions. More info…

Rochester Weekend Events – Fire and Ice Fest 2017
Downtown Rochester, Michigan (Third & Water Streets)
Fire and Ice Fest provides free family fun in Downtown Rochester. Events include fireworks, TasteFest, tube sledding, snow shoeing and cross country skiing, dog sled rides, ice skating, broom ball exhibition, ice sculptures and more! Fire and Ice Festival schedule of events. Fire and Ice Festival Hours are from 5p-9p on Friday, 10a-9p on Saturday and 9a-5p on Sunday. UPDATE – Fire and Ice 2017 will go on no matter what the weather. Due to warm weather being forecast for the event, the following Fire and Ice activities will not take place this year due to the anticipated warmer temperatures include tube sledding, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

At NAIAS you have the opportunity to see up-close the vehicles and technologies that will shape the future automotive landscape. Farmington Hills Weekend Events – Inside Out
Costick Center (28600 Eleven Mile Road – between Middlebelt and Inkster – Farmington Hills, Michigan)
Participants can experience canoeing/kayaking, archery, and fishing pole casting, plus enjoy a picnic, go on a nature hike, play in tents, check out animal furs, jump on a bouncer, and a whole lot more. The highlight of the evening is the live animal show at 7p, where families can see a variety of animals and reptiles close up.
