Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements
Soggy Doggy at Deer Lake Beach – Clarkston Dogs Only Swim. Bring your dog to the beach to swim, play, fetch, and socialize. This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is required along with record of rabies & DHLPP vaccinations. Records can be presented in person at ITPR offices or emailed to mheilman@indtwp.org. To pre-register, visit indtwp.org. Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony.
Walled Lake Memorial Day event – Walled Lake Memorial Day Ceremony will include a parade along E Walled Lake Dr, N Pontiac Trail, and E W Maple Rd.. For more info, visit walledlake.us.
