Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Spring Events
South Lyon Labor Day Bridge Walk – held by the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority in conjunction with other Walks around the state modeled after the LD Mackinac Bridge Walk.
This all-ages event will run along the Huron Valley Rail Trail and through downtown South Lyon MI. It’s is a 2.5 mile walk.
South Lyon Mother’s of Multiples Mom2Mom Sale – Spring Mom 2 Mom sale in South Lyon. Set up Department store style. Strollers welcome. Cash and credit cards accepted. West Bloomfield Summer Concerts Marshbank Park – Kids Komotion. FREE family fun. Enjoy live entertainment, FREE inflatables (socks required), and snacks and refreshments for purchase. Bring your blanket and/or lawn chairs. This is a FREE event. If an event is cancelled due to weather, WB Parks will post that info on their facebook page.

South Lyon Memorial Day Parade – Organized by VFW Post 2502. The parade launches at 9a from Bartlett Elementary and makes its way down 10 Mile through downtown. The parade ends in the South Lyon Cemetery with a ceremony that commemorates the contributions and sacrifices of all veterans. Organized by South Lyon VFW Post 1224.
West Bloomfield Summer Concerts Marshbank Park – Kids Komotion. FREE family fun. Enjoy live entertainment, FREE inflatables (socks required), and snacks and refreshments for purchase.
