Farmington Martin Luther King Jr Day Celebration – All events at the Main Library take place in the Auditorium, unless otherwise noted. Annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr celebration includes activities and events for all ages!

Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park – S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.
Barkin’ In The Park at Gilbert Willis P (248-624-2850). Hosted by Wixom Parks & Rec. Food, dog walking trail fun pet vendors, K9 show, talent show, and more. A pet photographer will be on hand All pets must be on a leash. This is a FREE event to attend.
Wixom Panther Hunt and Fall Festival – from 5p-8p (registration starts at 4:30p) at Gilbert Willis Park (Chickasaw St, Wixom, MI 48393)
Hunt for the friendly Wixom Panther on the Trick or Treat Trail. Cost includes Halloween tote, trick or treat trail, pony rides, live entertainment, and a pumpkin for each child. Ages 2-10. Milford MLK March
Milford MLK March on Main Street at Prospect Hill Shopping Center. Grab your family and friends and head downtown to join in for the 19th annual March on Main Street in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Lineup begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Prospect Hill Shopping Center parking lot. The march begins at 1p and will conclude at the SHAC / River’s Edge Market. Hosted by Huron Valley MLK Day.
