Light Up Beacon Park
Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Opening Night 11/18 from 5p-11:30p features dancers, live entertainment, live reindeer, Santa, and more. Hosted by the Downton Detroit Partnership.

Downtown Birmingham Winter Festivals – Brrmingham Blast. Enjoy shopping and family-friendly wintertime fun at this event. Activities include ziplining, marshmallow roasting, and food trucks. There will be plenty of promotions (and sales) at the local Downtown stores. Admission to this event is FREE. Parking is FREE for the first 2 hours of the event. Registered attendees should arrive at the designated check-in location during their assigned time to receive an event bag, coloring activity sheet and list of participating merchants.
