Campus Martius Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Skate – What’s more romantic than gliding along the ice hand-in-hand with your sweetheart while enjoying majestic views of the Detroit skyline? The rink will be lit up with the colors of love and feel-good ballads and classic love songs will fill the air. All couples are welcome to join this celebration of love. Tickets and skate rentals may be purchased onsite at the park and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Admission – Adults $12, Under 12 $9.
Sloan Museum Galentine’s Party – 810-237-3450, sloanlongway.org. Pamper and spoil yourself and your besties with shopping, karaoke and more. All four museum galleries will be open to event attendees until 8p. A cash bar and the Coffee Beanery Cafe will also be open for food and beverage purchases during the event. Kensington Metropark Movie Nights – Pack up the family and head out to your Metropark to enjoy a movie under the stars. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs and some popcorn and your favorite snacks and spend a night in the park then settle in to enjoy the show. Arrive early to pick your viewing spot and then before the movie starts enjoy the park. The movie will be shown on an LED screen and start before dark. All ages event.
