West Bloomfield Parks Letters to Santa event (half-hour sessions begin at 11a) – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center. Meet Santa, give him your letter, take a family picture and he will have a cookie for you. Cost is per family. Choose from one of five timeslots. One adult needs to register for the event and then indicate how many children you are bringing when prompted. Any age welcome! Photos will be emailed within one week of the event. $15 per resident family/$17 per nonresident family. Online registration is available now.
West Bloomfield Winter Solstice Celebration at Recreation Activities Center – Learn about the different solstice celebrations from around the world, roast a marshmallow, create a craft and explore the lantern lit trail. This event is entirely outside so dress accordingly. Cost is $7 per resident or $9 per non-resident. Registration opens 10/9/20. Oakland Astronomy Club will be guiding you through the night sky (weather permitting). Warm cocoa will be waiting for you at the end of the trail. West Bloomfield Parks Mom 2 Mom Sale – Connect at Orchard Mall (6335 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322). $2 admission or $3 early bird 8a-9a admission. No pre-registration required for buyers. SELLERS – Seller registration deadline is March 1, 2022. No retail sellers. One table per household. No refunds for no shows. Spring Fling Egg Hunt – Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 4:45p (toddler egg hunt) through 9p – six 45-min time slots available. (flashlight egg hunt for tweens & teens)
Grab eggs and hunt for the golden ones, then turn them in for treats. Mr Bunny will be there, so bring your camera and a basket to carry your goodies. A petting farm and train ride will be available at the event too. Check-in a half hour before your registration time. The hunt begins promptly at the scheduled time on your receipt and all eggs are usually found within 10 minutes. This event will go rain or shine. West Bloomfield Parks Community Garage Sale – at Recreation Activities Center. The cost for a booth is $10 for residents. It includes three 8×12′ parking spots (one of which is for your car). Set up begins at 7a. Seller spots are reserved for West Bloomfield residents and one spot per household. You will be responsible for providing your own tables to set items on, collecting money and making change, set-up and takedown of your area. Tents will only be allowed if they are secured and weighed down. No furniture, no paraphernalia and seller must take all unsold items with them. We will run the event in light rain and cancel if we have storms. Registration opens 3/28/22. Pre-register here.
