Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Southfield Celebrates Black History Month – Southfield Pavilion (26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield, MI)
This FREE event (suitable for ages 12 and up) will feature the Black History 101 Mobile Museum, a lecture by its founder Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, a Black-owned Business Marketplace and much more. Parks & Recreation will offer Black History Month Activity Bags containing activity sheets, stickers, themed coloring sheets, crayons, crafts and more for $5 each (while supplies last) by calling P&R at 248-796-4620. Southfield Black History Month Movie Night – Featuring the 2019 documentary The Black Godfather. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase. Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Stonewall Pumpkin Festival at Van Hoosen Farms – This year’s Stonewall Pumpkin Festival returns to Van Hoosen Farms in Rochester Hills from 10a-4p (Pumpkin Carving and Fall activities) and 7p-9p where people will be allowed to view the lit pumpkins on the wall. Hosted by the City of Rochester Hills.
