Farmington Hills Nature Center Junior Naturalists Club – at Heritage Park. Children explore a different nature theme each month. They will touch, smell, hear and see many aspects of the natural world. Earn a special badge for each class attended. Earn 3 badges and receive a special nature prize. Pre-registration required. Space is limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 6-11. Hosted by the City of Farmington Hills Special Services Department.

Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens Perennial Plant Sale – A large variety of Michigan grown perennials, including many from the Meadow Brook Hall gardens, will be available at very reasonable prices. Credit cards accepted. This is a FREE event to attend. MORE INFO.
White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees.
