MSU Tollgate Farm Holiday Lights on the Farm – Hosted by MSU Tollgate Farm & Education Center. Celebrate the holidays with a cruise at farm! Guests will enjoy holiday light displays built by volunteers and businesses from the comfort of their cars. Add to the fun by pre-purchasing a cookie and coco to-go box for your cruise. Winter Sky Treasures – Register with the Oakland Township Parks/Rec to join the Oakland Astronomy Club at Marsh View Park for live telescopic views of the first quarter Moon, the stellar nursery in Orion, and the bright stars of the Winter skies using video cameras and monitors. Oakland Twp Winter Carnival – at Bear Creek Nature Park. FREE Park & Shuttle At Rochester Christian Church (4435 Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306, 248-652-3353). Activities include – live entertainment, crafts, a magic show, ice sculpture demonstration with photo ops, puppet show, archery target shooting, penguin bowling, snowball toss, snowball fight, ice skating (weather dependent), and more. Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
