Royal Oak Social District Saturdays – Downtown Royal Oak Social District – Centennial Commons / W Fifth Street Plaza Area (Closed portion) / S Center Street (Between 3rd and 4th). Visitors are invited to grab a drink in Downtown Royal Oak’s Social District and enjoy complimentary live music and yard games at three different locations. The Royal Oak Social District allows customers to purchase alcoholic beverages to-go from participating businesses, and can consume drinks in designated areas throughout Downtown Royal Oak. The Big Reveal Milford Christmas Event – Stores on Main Street in Downtown Milford reveal festive holiday Christmas and holiday window displays to their stores. Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night. South Lyon Christmas Candy Cane Hunt at McHattie Park in South Lyon. Bring your little one out to grab as many candy canes as they can find. Find the multi-color ones and get a prize. SLARA recommends that children 6 & under sign up for the first time slot. Children 7+ sign up for the 6-8pm time slot. This is only a recommendation, children 3+ are invited to both time slot.
