Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. All ages are welcome, but everyone that enters must pay the admission fee. Each family must have an adult present. This is an outdoor event hosted by Southfield Parks & Recreation. More info…

Santa’s Candy Cane Trail – (9 times lots to choose from) at Kensington Metropark (810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
Take a short stroll along the candy cane trail for a chance to meet a variety of winter characters. You’ll even get a magical chance to see Santa before his big night. Stop by Santa’s mailbox to deliver your letters. Each household will start at slightly staggered times within their registered start time. $5 child, $5 adult, children under 2 are FREE. All ages event. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8917. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Annual vehicle permits are on sale NOW. Kensington Metropark Movie Nights – Pack up the family and head out to your Metropark to enjoy a movie under the stars. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs and some popcorn and your favorite snacks and spend a night in the park then settle in to enjoy the show. Arrive early to pick your viewing spot and then before the movie starts enjoy the park. The movie will be shown on an LED screen and start before dark. All ages event. Each visit includes a horse-drawn hayride or sleigh ride (weather dependent on which is available), a holiday sing-a-long, (complete with cozy blankets, song sheets, and jingle bells), snacks, (fruit, cookies, juice, hot cocoa, and coffee), and most importantly, a visit with Santa by the Christmas Tree.
