
Troy Memorial Day Ceremony – at Troy City Hall. The City of Troy is holding their Memorial Day Ceremony at 10a at Veterans Memorial Plaza in front of City Hall. Join others to honor fallen men and women who served our country to ensure our freedom with memorializing speeches, music and reflection. The ceremony also includes raising of the colors by the Troy Police Department Honor Guard, and the laying of a Memorial Wreath. The public is welcome to attend. Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by the Heart of the Lakes VFW post 1008. The parade runs on Dixie Hwy beginning at Sashabaw Rd traveling North to Williams Lake Rd. Auburn Hills Memorial Day Parade – American Legion Hall (96 Churchill Rd, Auburn Hills, MI, 248-852-4880)
The parade begins at the Avondale HS, proceeds to the MOMS Memorial, the Webster’s Cemetery and to the Auburn Hills American Legion where a community picnic will follow the parade and ceremony from noon-2p. For more info, call 248-852-4880.

Rochester Regional Chamber Foundation Parade of Heroes – Approximately 20 parade entries including fire trucks, a marching band, and more will line up in the parking lot at Adams High School. Participants will then walk the parade route north on Adams Road, ending at the Veteran’s Tribute of Oakland Township. Upon reaching the site, parade organizers and supporters will host an hour and a half long Memorial Program featuring: an invocation, song, speeches from community leaders and concluding with recognition of local veterans in attendance. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony.
