Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Spring Events
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims. Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916. Kensington Metropark Hayride Adventure – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Take part behind the scenes as the draft horses are harnessed and hitched to the wagon. Learn what the different elements of their harness do and how they work together. When the horses are dressed and ready, you’ll be all set for a relaxing hayride along the farm’s wooded trails. All ages. $6 per child / $10 per adult. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos
Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos at K-9 Pet Supplies. Detroit K-9 Pet Supplies invites you to bring your whole family – including your pets – to have pictures taken with Santa. Photos will be taken by Detroit K-9 staff and sent to attendees by text or email. Animals of all kinds are welcome at the event; dogs must be on a leash and all other animals must be in a carrier.
