Festival of the Hills Fireworks Rochester Hills – NEW DATE, at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills. The Festival of the Hills at Borden Park starts at 6p with family games, music and live entertainment. Fireworks Hotline – 248-841-BOOM. NOTE: Event has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 27 and will have limited activities. The scaled-down event will start at a new time – 8 p.m. – and the only activities will be “The Super Mario Bros Movie” and the live entertainment on stage starting at 8 p.m. There will still be a limited number of food vendors on site.

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims. Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916.
