Indian Springs Metropark Sensory-Friendly Hike. This program is designed for people with different sensory processing abilities and their families. An accessible, relaxed paced hike on a 1/3-mile of paved Pondside Trail. Leave from the Park Office Picnic Shelter to explore using senses in nature through interactive demonstration, like searching for camouflaged objects, learning bird calls, feeling different textures, and scent investigation with scent jars. A quiet space will be available to use as needed during the program. All Ages. $3 per child, $5 per adult, Children under 2 Free. Pre-register online or by calling 248-625-7280.
