Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Opening Night 11/18 from 5p-11:30p features dancers, live entertainment, live reindeer, Santa, and more. Hosted by the Downton Detroit Partnership.

Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Troy Historic Village Egg Hunt – the Troy Historic Village Spring Egg Hunt will take place at 4p-7:30p on Friday & 11a-3p on Saturday. Collect eggs to trade for goodies, make a craft, get your EGGSercise with a HOPstacle course, and play carnival-style games with your family. Egg collection at Spring Egg Hunt is structured, with each family collecting eggs in a designated lane. Pre-registration required at www.troyhistoricvillage.org.
