Downtown Mt Clemens Christmas Open House & Tree Lighting – Santa Claus will arrival & tree-lighting at 6p. Enjoy a personal visit with Santa and take your own photos. Activities include free horse drawn trolley rides, and children’s activities at different Downtown businesses. Many businesses will also feature special sales, giveaways, and refreshments. Stony Creek Metropark Kids Night at the Nature Center – Drop your kids off and enjoy your Friday night, kid-free. Your kids will have a blast as they meet the nature center animals, including our nocturnal opossum. They’ll get a chance to explore outside along a trail, looking for tracks in the moonlight, gazing at the growing moon, and listening for owl calls and coyote howls. Kids will warm up around our campfire and cook s’mores. Snacks will be provided. Ages 7-12. $10 per child. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
