Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
