Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Red Oaks Nature Center Maple Magic – Maple syrup is an icon of our region. Learn to identify maple trees, take a hike to tap a tree and taste the sap. We will teach you the tools, tips and methods needed to make your own batch of maple syrup at home. Taste some sweet maple treats and take home maple-based recipes. Some tasty treats may be made in factories that process nut products. This program is suitable for all ages. Cost: $7/person. Call 248-858-0916 weekdays to register. Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens Perennial Plant Sale – A large variety of Michigan grown perennials, including many from the Meadow Brook Hall gardens, will be available at very reasonable prices. Credit cards accepted. This is a FREE event to attend. MORE INFO.
Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present.
