RARA Boo Bash – Come in your favorite or scariest costume. There will be prizes for best dressed, cider and donuts, bounce houses and a Halloween movie playing. RARA Pumpkin Roll – at Bloomer Park. Roll your old pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns down the big sled hill. Bring a wagon to haul your pumpkins to the sled hill. Targets will be setup at the bottom of the hill. If your pumpkin gets in the target or closest to the target, you will win a prize. Enjoy a bonfire and cider & donuts after the event. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required. Hosted by RARA.
RARA Family Bingo Night – at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority. Head to RARA and join in for a fun family bingo event! Children of all ages are invited to attend. They will be playing 1 line bingo and every winner will get to choose a prize. The grand prize will be a RARA gift card to be used for future RARA programs. Cost is $25/family of 2 – 4 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Each additional family member past 4 members is $4 residents/$4.80 non-residents. Madison Hts Holiday Tree Lighting
Madison Hts Holiday Tree Lighting is Hosted by the City of Madison Hts at Civic Center Plaza at the Gazebo. The Mayor will welcome Santa and present him with an official key to the City. Visitors will enjoy cookies and cocoa while listening to seasonal music. Following the tree lighting program, children may wish to get their photos taken with Santa and Mrs Claus inside the Breckenridge Room of the Library. As this event is privately sponsored, the Mayor asks the community to help keep this tradition going, by making a donation payable to “City of Madison Heights – Christmas Light Fund.”.
