RARA Boo Bash – Come in your favorite or scariest costume. There will be prizes for best dressed, cider and donuts, bounce houses and a Halloween movie playing. RARA Pumpkin Roll – at Bloomer Park. Roll your old pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns down the big sled hill. Bring a wagon to haul your pumpkins to the sled hill. Targets will be setup at the bottom of the hill. If your pumpkin gets in the target or closest to the target, you will win a prize. Enjoy a bonfire and cider & donuts after the event. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required. Hosted by RARA.
RARA Family Bingo Night – at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority. Head to RARA and join in for a fun family bingo event! Children of all ages are invited to attend. They will be playing 1 line bingo and every winner will get to choose a prize. The grand prize will be a RARA gift card to be used for future RARA programs. Cost is $25/family of 2 – 4 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Each additional family member past 4 members is $4 residents/$4.80 non-residents. Each visit includes a horse-drawn hayride or sleigh ride (weather dependent on which is available), a holiday sing-a-long, (complete with cozy blankets, song sheets, and jingle bells), snacks, (fruit, cookies, juice, hot cocoa, and coffee), and most importantly, a visit with Santa by the Christmas Tree. Indian Springs Metropark Santa’s Candy Cane Trail – Take a stroll along the candy cane trail for a chance to meet a variety of winter characters. You’ll even get a magical chance to see Santa before his big night. Write your letters to Santa at home and stop by Santa’s mailbox during the program to deliver your letters. RARA Easter Egg Hunt
RARA Easter Egg Hunt – 9:30a & 11a (kids ages 1-4), 10a & 11:30a (kids ages 5-8) and 10:30a & Noon (kids ages 9-11) at RARA Fieldhouse. The Easter Bunny will be joining RARA for the family gathering and your child can have their picture taken with him. Bring your camera. Parents, grandparents and infants under 12 months are free.
