Mom & Son Night Out at The HAWK Community Center – Enjoy snacks (no dinner), music, dancing, games, activities and more. Registration required for both adult and child. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department. Pre-registration required. To register.
Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges. Michigan Makers Market at The HAWK Community Center – The juried craft fair will feature fine art, beautiful jewelry, high-quality creative goods, hand-crafted soaps and candy from approximately 50 local artists in various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, printmaking and wearable art. The Hawk Sunday Super Bounce – 10a-11:30a (ages 2-5) or 11a-1p (ages 6-11). Once a month on special mornings and afternoons HAWK staff members will set up the inflatable bouncers in the gym to make an arena of fun. Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register.
