Royal Oak In Bloom
Royal Oak In Bloom – in the Parking Lots (located at 600 S Main Street and 700 S Main Street as well as 7th Street between Main and Center Street in downtown Royal Oak). Local and regional farmers bring an impressive array of annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, vegetables and more for your every gardening interest. In addition to the wonderful selection of plants, there will be an abundance of other outdoor items available, including hand-made wind chimes, stepping stones, beaded basket hangers, and even rain barrels. Celebrate Birmingham Parade and Party
Celebrate Birmingham Parade and Party at Shain Park – the Downtown Birmingham Hometown Parade event
will feature children’s activities, live entertainment and food inside Shain Park immediately following the parade. This event is a celebration of the Birmingham community and schools. Participation offers an opportunity for businesses, organizations, individuals, schools and groups to promote themselves to the community. People of all ages come to town to celebrate and enjoy the family-fun festivities. The half-mile parade route travels through the charming downtown with many shops and restaurants. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
