Donut Be Afraid of Bugs – at 11a & 6p. Educational fun and a Donut truck will be at the VoRH ALL SUMMER. Nadia aka “The Bug Lady” will give you an up-close and educational experience with a variety of bugs. Learn about why these creatures are to be respected for their role in the ecosystem, and not to be feared. You will get the chance to learn about many different exotic insects, touch a tarantula, come face to face with a praying mantis, hold the largest species of millipede in the world, and much more! FUN new themes every week and you can purchase a treat from the donut truck for you & your child while your child learns fun new facts and trivia. These are FREE events. Hosted by TheVofRH.
Orion Twp Summer Concerts – Enjoy free concerts on the hill at Wildwood Amphitheater in Orion Twp this summer on Tuesdays. The Wildwood Amphitheater opened just a few summers ago and will be home to the free concerts this summer.

Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park – Enjoy award-winning films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during the DDP’s free outdoor movie series. Bring your own chair or blanket for a relaxing summer evening set in the heart of the city. Popcorn is available for purchase.
Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.

Holly Free Summer Concerts – Crapo Park in Downtown Holly will host FREE concerts one Thursday a month throughout the summer. These events will be held by the Holly Area Chamber of Commerce and feature local musicians.
Farmington Hills Summer Concerts – Heritage Park in Farmington Hills will be hosting free concerts on Thursdays throughout the summer at the park’s grassy amphitheatre as part of the Stars In The Park FREE summer concerts series.
All guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, and picnic meals are welcome. In the case of inclement weather, most concerts will be relocated to the Costick Center at 28600 W 11 Mile Rd.
