Red Oaks Nature Center Full Pink Moon Meditation & Bonfire – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100)
Following the moon cycle connects us with nature in a meaningful way. Enjoy a mini hike, cozy fire and calming meditation during the full moon. No meditation experience necessary. Dress for the weather. The program is suitable for ages 7 and older. Cost is $5/person. nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.
Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Mayfair Co-Op Mom2Mom Sale
Mayfair Co-Op Mom2Mom Sale – Mom to Mom Sales are a great place to sell your children’s outgrown and gently used items or for those who do direct sales for businesses such as Tupperware, Thirty-One Bags, or Young Living. Admission to this event is FREE. Interested in selling or becoming vendor, email Kelly at Mayfairfundraising@gmail.com

Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration
Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration – Family-friendly festival that attracts visitors from across the Metro Detroit Area. Children activities include bounce houses, crafts, petting zoo and pony rides. The festival also features free concerts, food trucks, vendors, educational exhibits and more. FREE admission.
