Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity. Each child will receive a craft kit to take and make at home. This series meets the second Friday of each month. Indian Springs Metropark Dog Walking Club – Prepare to walk between one to three miles along our paved trail, with stops along the way for your pups to sniff, explore and rest. Dogs are required to remain on a 6-foot leash. Please be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. Then journey through the prairie to search for the variety of native plants that make Indian Springs Metropark a great butterfly habitat, and hopefully see some of the butterflies themselves.
