Maybury Farm Making Maple Syrup Tours – 50165 Eight Mile approximately 1 ¼ miles west of Beck, Northville Twp, MI 48167. Take a hayride to the Maple tree grove, tap the trees, bring sap back to evaporator and watch how maple syrup is made. Your family will not only see all of the steps in producing maple syrup but they will also take part in the process. Maple syrup and maple syrup products for purchase in the General Store in the Welcome Center. Dress warmly and boots are a must. Call 248-374-0200 for cost info and registration info. Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. Troy Community Center Puzzle Palooza – (248-524-3484). Teams of 2, 3, or 4 will compete against each
other to see who can finish a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the quickest. Team fee includes puzzles to compete with and light snacks/refreshments. Bloomer Park Sap to Syrup Pancake Breakfast – (3 time slots available). Visit Bloomer Park and our Sugar Bush to see an old-fashioned sap-to-syrup boiling operation. We will be making syrup from trees tapped right here in Rochester Hills. Sample some real maple syrup and enjoy a pancake breakfast complete with sausage, juice and coffee.
