Kensington Weekend Hayrides – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Enjoy a horse-
drawn or tractor-drawn hayride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.

Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Kensington Metropark for the whole family. Follow the path of pumpkins along the festive trail with costumed characters to find fall-themed photo opportunities. Kensington Metropark Fall Festival – Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of harvest-themed activities for the whole family.
Tour the farm, view traditional demonstrations, and be entertained by Rosco the Clown. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch are available. Pumpkins prized according to size. All ages. FREE event.
