Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. National Mini-Golf Day at Cranbrook on the Green Mini Golf Course – Mother’s Day Event. Every year the

second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Admission to the Art Museum is free with mini-golf admission. Enjoy making in the Art Lab, visit the Graduate Degree Exhibition or enjoy a snack and a latte at our FIKA Café. Kensington Park Mothers Day Walk

Kensington Park Mothers Day Walk – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com) 10a-11a or 1p-2p. Take an hour-long guided walk and discover the budding spring wildflowers, chattering birds, and rich habitats. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.

Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series

Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-625-6473) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are

adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
